BSF: Recruitment of Constable (GD) Male in All States and UTs

Applications are invited from male Indian citizens belonging to all States and UTs for the post of Constable (General Duty ) in Border Security Force (BSF) on temporary basis likely to be permanent. The following vacancies have been allotted to each State & UT. OMR based application forms will be sold at all District HQ post offices from 4th Oct to 23rd Oct 2010.

Constable (GD) : 19857 posts
Qualification: Matriculation or Xth Class pass.
Age: 18 to 23 years as on 01/08/2010
Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs.2000/- plus usual and admissible allowances.

Application Fee: General and OBC candidates are required to deposit a sum of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty)
only as application fee through Postal order/DD in favour of D.D.O, FHQ BSF, payable at SBI,
CGO Complex, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi (Code-7837).
How To Apply: Application form will be available in the form of a booklet identified by a Booklet Form number in all District Headquarters Post Offices of the country. The cost of the application booklet will be Rs.40/-. The OMR application form duly completed in all respect as per the instructions contained in the Booklet alongwith Postal order/ DD should be sent to “The Commandant (Recruitment) Pers Dte, HQ DG BSF 10 CGO Complex. Lodhi Road New Delhi –110003”
